a team in one league had won 9 games in a row at the start , then lost 2, and the opposition were only 3 points behind, theres been a lot of hype designed to put pressure on city by declaring it was all over after 5 games, frustrating game I did feel a bit sorry for the players, but not willy for his poor effort though

United really haven't faced many tough opponents so far, loss to Swansea basically but they were riding high.. look at them the past few games.

Early title race results means nothing. The teams are slowly bedding in and players are getting to match fitness.
The real contest begins late October /mid-November. No need to flap already.
After a run of 12~15 games we will have a more tangible idea of the strengths of the top 3 teams in the league.

Things like the offside decisions Pellegrini cannot control.
No team will lose the league due to offside decisions.
I'm not arsed if this sounds arrogant or not but we should easily win the league this year.
We have built a squad that is up there with the Bayern's and Barca's IMO and we need to make a statement.
Reaching the last 16 of the CL and scraping the league does not do this group of players justice.
