Cheap Hotel in London

Check the Travelodge Hackney Central. Only a couple of stops from West Ham’s ground and some great boozers around there

Whenever I go London (from Somerset) I stay at Travelodge in Hayes. Two minutes' walk to the station, straight onto the Elizabeth line, and once you're on that you can be in any part of the city within 30 minutes or so.

Of course if you're arriving into the middle of London then this makes no sense, but in general don't discount staying out of the city and travelling in.

Just to follow up on my thread from the other week - I’m on the overnight shift at work (11pm to 7.30am) so had time to trawl through all the recommendations given and finally decided to go with this one so thanks to @bluesmith for doing so.
A couple of you suggested Ealing and there were some good deals and if it was me I’d go for it but my daughter and grandson don’t know the underground at all, so the one chosen is a quick one change trip from Euston to Holborn for the hotel and then to West Ham is one short ride with no changes to Stratford which was the deal maker.
Room was £106 for the night and £12 for adult breakfast, kids under 16 eat free so £118 all round.
Just have to wait until April now to get the train tickets!
Thanks again to all of you who suggested places :)

Glad to be of assistance, tell them to try the Princess Louise pub round the corner from the hotel, as pubs go its stunning.

I know there’s probably no such thing but looking for tips as to where Blues stay overnight in the Smoke - preferably near to Euston or West Ham’s ground.
Daughter and grandson off to a gig at West Ham in July, so I said for Xmas I’ll stump up the cost of the hotel.
I don’t mind a back packer type hostel as long as they have their own room.
Just need them to get to the hotel, drop their shit off and make their way to and from the ground.
Searched online such as Booking dot com etc and it’s all £300 plus for the night.

Alternatively does @BlueHammer85 have a spare room?

And - before anyone asks - no pictures!
He will have but probably no cheaper than the Savoy or Dorchester!
