Ched Evans - serious injury

Wouldn't have got this far in my opinion. He will be an innocent man this Time tommorrow. Mark my words.

I've suspected this from day one as something wasn't right with the case. He's been protesting his innocence for a reason.

Barry George was found guilty of murdering Jill Dando. It was a miscarriage of justice. They're capable of getting it wrong.

Not my problem,i have enough of my own,if he gets off no-one but the police and the jury have any need to feel sorry

But there were some people who were quite eager to see him imprisoned and dismissive of his claims of innocence, what about the plonker who threatened to rape the daughter of one of Oldham athletics daughters? I just wonder if they'd regret judging him so quickly, is all.

Will see, he will always be innocent in some eyes whatever the verdict and guilty in others . Tomorrow he could be guilty beyond doubt again, a new OJ Simpson or a victim all depending on the decision and why the decision is made.

In a way the worst decision all round is an issue with the trial or a technical problem which questions procedure and not guilt, as that will leave it all hanging over him, clear new strong evidence in his favour or the verdict being upheld will at least leave it certain.

Even if guilty once sentence is served he should have been able to play again if a club wanted him, but equally fans of a club should be free to express their views on that. As they should even tomorrow.

someone doing that should've been locked up - problem is tomorrow he won't be innocent unless some crazy new evidence like it was a premeditated blackmail plot comes in.

Not guilty beyond reasonable doubt or not guilty due to legal error and being innocent are two very different things . But until a verdict comes and the reasons for it come it is all speculation

Every crim says they are not guilty so why should anyone feel sorry for him?,he had due process, I haven't read anyone saying poor girl she has had to move home several times and change her name, there are no winners here. You lads have closed ranks because its very much there by the grace of god that some of you have not found yourselves in the same bother.I don't know anything about the plonker

He served his sentence, should have been allowed to work at the end of it. Too many politicians and celebs wanted to re-write the laws on sentencing/rehabilitation without having the bottle to actually do it.

i was asking IF he was to be found innocent, I would have thought if someone was wrongly convicted of a crime, irrespective of gender they would receive an element of empathy.
