Did I mention I'd been on Eggheads?
Just watched Cheesey's vlog from today's game and he introduced it with a message he had received from City.
He said City told him that the Premier League have stated he can't film inside any part of the stadium - presumably every club will have been issued the same directive.

Now I appreciate there are many of these youtubers who flout the law and film parts of the action for their videos (Cheesey never has) but banning them all from filming in the concourse or exec lounges before or after a game has started / ended or at half time is not damaging the PL "product" in any way.

So his vlogs now will come from outside the grounds before and after the game with no half time input at all

What next? Forcing all the tourists filming half of the game on their phone to hand their phone over upon entry to be placed in a box?

Please don't turn this into a critique of Cheesey, keep it to the issue of youtubers and what / how they do it

Yeah, but what harm is he actually doing ..
The issue is there are vloggers out there that do film during the game and put it up on their videos.
The PL could easily take action (with youtube) against those doing it. Instead they just sent emails to clubs telling them to tell youtubers to stop filming inside the ground.

I love Cheesey's vlogs as it brings out the "match day experience" inside the stadium without using footage of the game.
At half time he's chatting with the likes of Nedum, Savage, Michael Brown and others.

The Everton vlog was flat. Interviews before and after. That's it. Had he been able to have recorded inside, the video would have been rocking with sound and colour too.
Cheesey (for me) produces a great snapshot of each game which for a fan now living thousands of miles away is greatly appreciated. He must be so disheartened with this instruction.

Of course I will continue to support and watch his vlogs and just hope somehow the PL will relax the rule.

Cheesy is the only youtuber I watch who respectfully doesn't record any shots of the game. He's knowledgeable,Respectfull, and most of all a die hard BLUE.
Not surprised to be honest with you.
It's the big company/organisation picking on the little man.
What's worse the club welcome and feed certain bias, bitter racist journalists.
IT'S GREAT BEING A BLUE

This is an absolute crock of shit. For those of us stuck “a million miles away” Cheesey’s blog is the best for conveying the atmosphere , passion and true feeling of our fans. It’s the only one I watch regularly and I tell everyone I can to view it
The Premier League and the club need to take a long hard look at themselves as to how they treat their long standing supporters and those who drive positivity about our beloved club.
As always money talks.

For us faraway expat blues he is a godsend keeping us connected to the greatest club in the land and especially the supporters interviews. The fan interactions and the outside stuff are the best bits so nothing will really change. I Remember Cheesy running the football specials years ago and when a group of us got on at Wilmslow one time he asked if daddy’s Rolls Royce wasn’t available as we were slumming it on the train. How he knew all our dads had rollers I’ll never know.
