What the actual fuck was that Pep? An absolute calamity from start to finish from him with the points rescued by stones and Ake. It's a bloody good job that was 10th placed side in dreadful form well and truly ravaged by Injuries otherwise we would have been twatted.

Job done somehow, move on and find some form in the cups. United next in the league after 2 Cup games, don't you fucking dare try anything like that again Pep you tit.
 
Happy with the 3 points but something is not clicking.

Pep obviously doesn't trust Cancelo in the back and Walker in the build up. Can't blame him.

What was most worrying was KDB's form.. Even if we win or don't win the league this season.. KDB's form going off a cliff is the most worrying!

Only thing I would have liked would be to get Alvarez in as he presses better than KDB since KDB was playing as a 2nd striker today anyways.

Anyways I trust in Pep.

We looked woeful in that game, Chelseas fullbacks were there for the taking and we barely laid a glove on them. The lack of pace and the ability to beat a man out wide is frightening and aids in us looking one paced. The midfield is slow and ponderous which is unlike us - Ilkay did decent tonight but he hasn't got the legs to be a starter in the prem anymore. The formation and team put out first half was dire and I've not seen Cancelo and Foden (and Kev) play that badly for a long time, Why doesn't Foden attempt to beat his man ever? I've got to say Grealish and Mahrez aren't my fav players but they pulled us out of the shit tonight. 3 points is really what counts but we need to find form and find it quickly with the fixtures that are approaching.

Would have probably lost if it wasn't for Beckenbauer, sorry, I mean stonsey. He was magnificent. Ake was great 1st half then turned to jelly later for some reason :-)
Some strange/worrying performances in a strange line up but getting the points is the most important thing. I'm happy.
 
Made hard work of that considering Chelsea had players out and we were at full strength. We look so one paced at the moment
 
Interesting game. Underlined what Jack brings to the table and why certain players aren't getting in the team. My overall impression this season, is that we're a team falling between an old and new style of play which makes us look good at neither. If we win the league this year it will be Pep's best achievement in my view.
 
We won,3 points.

No denying we are not playing well though.

Midfield was non existent at the end there.Zero game management after we scored.Game management seems to be just carry on playing the same way and hope we hold out.

Not looking forward to the Derby,which is a first for a long time.

No better game though to come out of this malaise and lay down a marker by pasting the Rags.

No doubt Pep will throw out a few surprises for that,Maybe Alvarez in Net Ederson up front etc. :-)
 
I still don’t understand what we were doing in the first half but thank goodness for the changes and Chelsea being so poor.

We have to improve and quickly.

Nonetheless three points away at Chelsea - happy days
 
1 goal win. Just like I wanted. Glad for the 3 points. Loads to be said but ultimately happy with 3 points.

Sorry I disagree. Within minutes of the second half both Foden and Bernardo when playing in a different formation from the first half both skinned their respective fullbacks create chances. The whole team was shit in the first half including the most lethal forward in world football and one of the most dangerous midfielders in the world in KDB...all down to the ridiculous formation that Pep played..he even managed to make one of the best DM in football look like a total novice by playing him at centre half and having no protection in front of him

Fodens and bernardos performances both were shit first half...yet straignt away with everyone else in the second half the whole team looked better
 
Spitty can fuck right.off an all " city just brought on 160mill worth of.subs to win the game, Chelsea have injuries and.no depth to their squad" źzzzzzzzz
