Exhausted after that, but what a game. We only really have ourselves to blame though. Gvardiol for the second, Ederson for the 3rd and Dias for the last one, really really poor. Errors have cost us hugely there.

If that’s our midfield without Stones we have big problems to sort considering our fixtures. Other teams can hurt us more than Chelsea did.

Chelsea played really well, pressed really well and mostly very hostile atmosphere
Not many will be capable of putting it on us with that level of quality and we still got a point away

We failed to manage the game in midfield at 3-4 and it cost us a late penalty.

He was poor for the 3rd goal.
Sliding in for no reason at all.
Ball lands at where he would should have been, giving Jackson the chance to score

-- We hit a lot of shots right at their keeper today.
-- Pitch conditions didn't suit us. Ball was slow along the ground.
-- Thought Kova and Grealish should have come on earlier.
-- What happened to those wing overlaps were were running to great effect the last few matches?
-- Liked Haaland's reaction at the end. He was NOT happy with a draw.

Fair result, can’t complain. Still top of the league. Never really had control of the game.

I still feel like Dias gets a decent chunk of the ball well before his momentum carries him into the man - surprised nobody seems to have pointed that out as it completely changes the decision for me. Though stupid to go in like that on a wet surface anyway. I think on another day neither of those penalties are given.

Nowhere near enough of the ball imo.

Of course he celebrates against them. Even Ake celebrated against Bournemouth and he is one of the best players in their history.

Didn’t think he was motm though, thought sterling was better than him.

That was bonkers - I can quite work out if we were playing below standard or Chelsea played well, Certainly they attacked us and that is the best way to play against us and disrupt our passing game. But on other occasions we have matched it and still asserted control. We just couldn’t today. Rodri was isolated too often, Akanji isn’t effective enough in that hybrid role Dias was struggling to assert his usual control - Sterling matched up Walker for long periods and too often they were able to run at us And cause chaos - we are not designed for a chaotic game.

In attack - four goals away from home should be a great performance - but we might have scored more! Foden was brilliant first half - but I thought Cucurella played him really well in the second half. Doku was dangerous - but final ball was not always good enough. Haaland caused all sorts of problems but we struggled to give him Amy more chances.

In the end - draw is OK - top of the league after 12 is a good place to be - time to kick on over the winter and build a lead.
