Funny that you put fan in quotation marks, yet you're sat behind a keyboard and questions a match going fan...
 
Game of two halves and how many times have we said that this season.
The first half was pretty even, we had a lot of possession but didn't really do a great deal with it but I don't think they really troubled us a huge amount either.
There must have been something in the half time cup of tea as we came out full of life, controlled the game and that was the three points in the bag. The first and second goals were great, lovely assists from Cherki and a very well taken header from O'Reilly and a strikers finish from Guehi. Doku and Cherki were alert for the third and Doku finished it nicely.
On to next week, come on City.

No they cant but 9 pts ahead and what would be only 5 game left for them (6 for us) if they were to beat us would leave a sizeable gap (6 pts if we won our game in hand) - that would mean we would need them to lose another 2 games from only 5 they have left at that point....we would be running out of games ....though again it would still be posssible.

Even a draw next week and its still close - (3 pts if we were to win our game in hand at that point).....plus goal difference (they are +3 better than us at present) -

Stats are one thing...momentum and psychological advantage are other things however and the winner next weekend would have that over the other.....

They have Sporting Lisbon on Wednesday at their place......the fatigue of that game could play into next weekend

I can see Arsenal coming to our plae and playing on the break...they have the players to do it - we will have to be hugely patient next weekend

All very good points. I doff my cap to you. But my post was in reply to someone who asked if it was possible for Arsenal to win the title next weekend.
 
Superb 2nd half performance. Hopefully NOR and Rodri won't have long term reactions to their pulls/knocks.

That's 2-0 over Arsenal; 4-0 over Liverpool and now 3-0 over Chelsea. We need to fear no-one; they fear us now - we're the real deal. Clean sheets and scoring goals.

Absolutely buzzing with that win first half compared to second was like day and night,all set up for next week which is now massive,keep this momentum going City and don’t let up ..Oh any news on Nico ..

Yeah, we need both halves next week to be of top quality. Our A game in from kick off to final whistle.

Our Tata was last seen in Matalan purchasing two dozen pairs of brown trousers.
 
Great weekend for us.

First half we weren't really firing, but second half we were brilliant. The players stepped it right up and showed they fancy it.

Next weekend is going to be massive. We need to make the ground as intimidating as possible.
