Great support from the travelling Blues
Funny that you put fan in quotation marks, yet you're sat behind a keyboard and questions a match going fan...That “fan” they kept showing, if he’s disabled, then it’s on the tv studio and it’s out of order showing him being weird. If he’s actually a grown man that took a bottle with the arsenal logo into the game, and then those shirts with messages on, our fan base is absolutely ruined by weirdos
He makes Dias look like he’s pulling an Anvil, pace is impressiveKhusanov is no pretender - based on recent form (prior to Dias being injured obvs) Khus is the pick all day long
It really is phenomenal isn’t it. There are no other sides who have support that backs the team from minute 1 to min 95. When our fans are on it, no one comes close.Great support from the travelling Blues
No they cant but 9 pts ahead and what would be only 5 game left for them (6 for us) if they were to beat us would leave a sizeable gap (6 pts if we won our game in hand) - that would mean we would need them to lose another 2 games from only 5 they have left at that point....we would be running out of games ....though again it would still be posssible.Th
They can't.
All very good points. I doff my cap to you. But my post was in reply to someone who asked if it was possible for Arsenal to win the title next weekend. No they cant but 9 pts ahead and what would be only 5 game left for them (6 for us) if they were to beat us would leave a sizeable gap (6 pts if we won our game in hand) - that would mean we would need them to lose another 2 games from only 5 they have left at that point....we would be running out of games ....though again it would still be posssible.
Even a draw next week and its still close - (3 pts if we were to win our game in hand at that point).....plus goal difference (they are +3 better than us at present) -
Stats are one thing...momentum and psychological advantage are other things however and the winner next weekend would have that over the other.....
They have Sporting Lisbon on Wednesday at their place......the fatigue of that game could play into next weekend
I can see Arsenal coming to our plae and playing on the break...they have the players to do it - we will have to be hugely patient next weekend
Compare that to the traveling Arsenal fans yesterday. They were pretty quiet… Oh wait! They were at home. Tick tock.Great support from the travelling Blues
“Fan”? If he’s disabled? Being weird? That “fan” they kept showing, if he’s disabled, then it’s on the tv studio and it’s out of order showing him being weird. It was the Real Madrid second leg when we turned the corner with ten men.Now that's a statement, the old City has been back since the cup final, hopefully another great performance next week against the tarquins and they will totally shit the bed.
Yeah, we need both halves next week to be of top quality. Our A game in from kick off to final whistle.Game of two halves and how many times have we said that this season.
The first half was pretty even, we had a lot of possession but didn't really do a great deal with it but I don't think they really troubled us a huge amount either.
There must have been something in the half time cup of tea as we came out full of life, controlled the game and that was the three points in the bag. The first and second goals were great, lovely assists from Cherki and a very well taken header from O'Reilly and a strikers finish from Guehi. Doku and Cherki were alert for the third and Doku finished it nicely.
On to next week, come on City.
