Incredible team performance left Chelsea chasing shadows.

Several motm candidates.....Delph, Sterling, KDB, Stones....also thought Ederson was solid.
I did enjoy how the pundits totally got it wrong.
Was talking to my city mate before the match, he was nervous the team was too attacking.....reassured him that you would outplay the midfield...and boy you did.
Chelsea don't perform well under pressure..it was exactly the way to play..

I was so convinced you would win..I lobbed £20 on an away win.

Our 'rubbish' defence conceded no league goals in the whole month of September despite playing three teams in the top 6.

And in all competitions in the month in seven games scored 25 and conceded just 1 all the month with a second string winning away in the league cup at what was then another team in the top 6.

Today was no one off the media can wish away. That record speaks volumes.
Neville senior...,the football expert..called our defence "weak" "Disorganised " and used other disparaging remarks whilst it was 0-0 v red scouse...
Wonder what the expert will say next time out..?

We were lucky today
Morata doesn't go off injured I think we lose and KDB should've definitely seen red for his lack of self discipline running up to celebrate his miss hit goal with his own fans

Brilliant performance. SerIously good. At 0-0 was thinking Chelsea still might nick it as they're really difficult to break down. And Delph was a revelation - now I understand Pep's comments last season about him giving us something different. I'll take that any day of the week.
Very pleased for Delph.i bet he is really really glad he changed his mind and joined us ...esp when you look at where Villa are now.
Ive always liked his non fussy, industrious, economical style of midfied play, now he is learning more and more under Pep.
What a career move,he must be buzzing.really pleased for the lad.
