Wonderful - no one should ever doubt this team. And even if they do I would rather lose the title our way than win it Chelsea's way - you cant go out against your biggest rival and play scared. In effect they conceded the ball to us and hoped to hang on for a 0-0 or nick a break - but with three defensive midfield players it wasn't going to happen. Some of that was down to us - our midfield was immense and as many have said Bernardo was wonderful, love to see his stats - he must have run a marathon. Alongside him Rhodri didn't give Chelsea any hope of catching us on the break and that must leave them so frustrated. The performance of Bernardo and Rhodri meant that De Bruyne could have a day when his passing wasn't quite on target- we could let Foden build his fitness hassling their defenders as a false 9 without getting much joy for himself, but his work created space for others.

Or perhaps we are capable of brilliant performances every so often.
Pretty similar to the win at Leicester in that we really should have scored two or three more but it's another three points and several players competing for MOTM.
How long do we have to wait to see if VAR will call back the rags and Villa players so the penalty can be retaken?
