How about I'll think whatever I want. Those three have never let us down.

Put it another way, which other team could lose their number one striker and replace him with a player is the current Brazil no.9 and actually has a better goals per minute ratio?

Or should I leave you to wallow for a bit longer?
 
As we have seen Raheem and Sane are quite capable of bagging a hatful this season, never mind Jesus.

If Chelsea lost Morata they have only one understudy. Spurs similarly with Kane. Only United have 3 number 9s.

We just man up and get on with it.

For me the LB problem is more of an issue. But we bought Danilo for his alleged ability to play both sides. Let's see if he can.

Trick is for Sane and Walker to drive back their wingbacks. Do that and we can dominate the game overloading the middle with Dinho, Gundo, Silva, KDB.
Leaves us needing pace at the back in Danilo and, hopefully, Kompany. If he hasn't been pencilled in for this one we could struggle no matter what we do, as we saw with Salah vs Ota. I'm sure Willian will start this game for his pace on the counter, but even if it's Pedro he's quick enough to hurt us if 2 of Ota/Stones are back there

We are possibly the hardest team to beat, Everton got a breakaway goal but not near to beating us. I have a feeling this game will be an Ederson game, in that his saves and quick balls will play into our advantage.
 
now pep will have match up chelsea in the middle to combat their dogs of war, i suspect he may played two up top prior to sergio's injury

Curse our luck with Sergio but if Vinnie makes it back it will be a huge boost. Fingers crossed.

I am not convinced Aguero would have started against Chelsea regardless. Mendy is a miss but Danilo is a player, I really rate him and we could possibly be more secure at the back with him in. Assuming we have no other "issue" I'm pretty confident the shite we have had this week doesn't change an awful lot for this game. I'm a glass half full type of guy.

I think we need to control the game if we're going to limit them to a couple of chances and that midfield is ideal for doing that. If we can't break their defence down then I would bring on Sane and Sterling to give them something completely different to deal with.
 
Still a few questions on team selection tomorrow even without Sergio. Will we go 3-5-2 or 4-3-3. Who plays left back Danilo or Delph? If we play 2 up who plays with Jesus- Sane or Sterling? Do we bring Gundogan in?
