Uhhh no!

Laporte's can be super at times and he's won us trophies like the last carabao cup was due to his header. Also the 2018-19 PL.. the winning goal was Laporte's header.

Sure he has his kryptonite (Spurs) but other than that he's solid.

I also don't hold that handball against him vs Real. It hit him rather than he was making a mistake.

And the kid has heart. He played injured and dragged us across the line. What's not mentioned in the media is he needed surgery afterwards (but you can clearly tell since he was at Dr. Cugat's office when Haaland came in for his medical and his knee is bandaged up pretty good.)

So warts and all Laporte is still better than Ake in my opinion!

You didn’t read it then. Neitner Chelsea nor Arsenal will be within 10 points of us, as they battle for 4 th.

I disagree a bit here because FFP places limitations on what we can spend.

So to make the numbers work with money for FFP and playtime.. we had to do it. We can't spend blindly and end up with another CL ban or only 17 players allowed again.

Yes you are. We haven’t strengthened anyone 2 players that wanted to go have left we didn’t ask them to go, though in fact we needed one to go. Do either make chelsea or arsenal, better than us, no both will still be well behind us fighting for that 4th place spot so not really rivals. Are we stronger than last season, yes.
As for the media, the club like me probably don’t care, when they need to they will act but they have better things to be getting on with they just carry on doing what they do, winning.
