Chelsea - FA Cup SF | Post-Match Thread

Barca just won the Copa de Rey, which I'm sure they'd swap in a heart beat to be in the CL semi finals.

To be fair, they have won it the most of any Spanish club.

We have 6 FA Cups, 1 more would have also equalled the dippers too.

People saying that sterling shouldn't be in the england squad, well he wouldn't get in the welsh squad either.

Games like this are a good reminder of us in desperate need for a striker, and a left back
Zinchenko has proven himself to be reliable but I agree. Maybe even a RB too, to rotate with Kyle if Joao's current run of form is indeed what we have with him.

Damn. That one leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

TBF.. I’m the opposite. I usually want us to win the domestic cups but this season it’s all about the big two. The league is always priority but If I’m honest I think I want the CL just as much despite previously being nonplussed about it.. more to shut the media up than anything else but also because I know what it means to Pep, the players and our owners. So more for them really.

The main problem was positional not personnel. Our best team ATM plays Mahrez, Foden and a false 9, all extremely comfortable withe the ball. Today our front three were totally different players. Quicker for sure but not as good holding onto the ball.
