Did anyone speak to any Chelsea fans after the game ? what did they make of the lights out Blue Moon before the game, and also the atmosphere and comeback from city.

Michael Ballack warns Manchester City could be a threat in Premier League title race

I read a Chelsea fan on Teletext today saying that they had been beaten not because they had played badly but because City were simply excellent and if we can perform like that every week we would beat everyone in the league. I was quite impressed with the honesty of what he said - finding that consistency is the really hard bit though - it always has been for us.

A bin-dipper mate text me to ask if that's how we plan to beat Chelsea, by turning the lights out.

I pointed out that we won at Ewood.

And at the end, that we beat chelsea n'all :-)

Still whingeing about two of Webb's better (and correct) decisions though.

I only ask because from a city fans perspective the build up was fabulous but after the Arse game we knew it was going to happen, but Chelsea fans must have wondered WTF !!!!

I watched it on tv with a couple of Chelsea fans. They spent most of the time going on about the ref and how they should have won if it wasn't for the Lampard miss and Drogba miss.

Nice put-downs! There's a few gooners and verminous rags where I work, and I'll be telling them that if they need any advice on how to beat Chelsea, all they have to is ask! There's also a Chelsea fan (from darkest Hampshire!), but he's alright; I'll only give him an hour or so of grief

My son went with 3 sheffield based chelsea fans (season tik holders). They thought the atmosphere was great. In fairness they were a bit worried about city before the game. Paid credit to city afterwards, but felt chelsea's use of sub's was poor.
