Ake, ran himself into the ground trying to play his position and cover for Mendy who was constantly posted missing.

No one was more than 5/10 today.

Mendy, Cancelo, Aguero and Torres were particularly woeful.

Voted Gundogan but could have equally been Foden.

The formation was light in midfield and left the back line exposed (especially on the left with Mendy, Ake, Laporte all positionally suspect). Up front Sterling trying too hard and not playing the simple ball. Aguero got no service and when he did looked short of confidence. Torres needing more time to settle. Jesus worked as hard as ever but its clear he is only ever going to be a squad player.
