Chelsea (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Get what you’re saying (ish) but it does come across like you’re taking pleasure from City not winning.
To be fair, he's not on his own. Every match thread, particularly when we're not winning by 3 or 4 goals, you see posters that seldom bother posting when we're doing well. Never a trace of them last June on CL final night. It's annoying. They can post when we're underwhelming, but not when we're winning trophies.

Also another thing that worries me is that we rarely score early these days, we used to be the best in the first 20 minutes but it's just not happening at the moment.
That will be because we pa's the ball sideways again and again never troubling the opposition defence, then we go a goal behind and decide it might be worthwhile trying to score in the second half. Rinse and repeat game after game.

In life you only learn when things don't go to plan. I just hope Pep now realises that Alverez and Haaland is wrong, Doku is the most predictable1 trick pony ever, Foden is NOT a winger, Akanji is not Stones and frankly playmakers should be pirouetting midfielders and not your 4 defenders taking turns at things they simply cannot do! There's something just not right about that team at the moment and it needs sorting quickly.

We can moan about refs and decisions and a PGMOL conspiracy , but today we had enough chances to win the next six games , i truly believe that given the chance PGMOL will screw us over , its down to us to make dodgy decisions irrelevant.
BUT we also should have been given enough decisions from the ref to win the next six games.

Opponents being sent off win you games.
Free-kicks on the edge of the box win you games.
Penalties win you games.
A reasonable amount of added time wins you games.

He makes all the wrong decisions and slows the play down. What is worrying is you could script his play in advance of every game. I know I’ll get abuse like I did with Phillips but I’m just telling it how it is. From what I’ve seen he only has one facet to his game which is the first 5 yards of pace.
He's utter shite, easily predictable and clearly hates to pass when he should and rarely crosses.

Yea good shout. Maybe wasn’t appreciated as much while he was with us. Also went missing a lot tho. Someone else needs to step up. Phil, Kev off it today aswell which is rare in itself. But no one stepped up!
I couldn't believe the stick he hot at times. A talent like that often shines in the important moments and he did barre the pen miss at krankfield

We probably need to beat them in a couple of weeks to get back in the driving seat. On the evidence of the season so far they are just a tiny bit better than us. This will be probably the first time in the glory era that we have to go there and win. Lets see what happens.
Our record is better than most clubs at Klanfield , we have only lost a couple of league games over the last few years and its usually a brain fart from our defence (Cancelo last season) or some dubious refereeing that swings the game (Milners five yellow cards)
If we can avoid the mistakes and get a referee who will stand up to Klippety and the shithouses who frequent their miss match legoland football ground , then we have a great chance of ending their title dreams

They might have done. Liverpool don't begin each attack with 20 backwards or sideways passes to allow defenders to get in position. I know these tactics helped us win a pot or two but sometimes a bit of urgency needs to be injected at 0-0 rather than when chasing the game.
It also helps that liverpool ALWAYS get a very favorable decision at a very advantageous time in the match against Chelsea, have done for the last 5 years, much like our games against the dippers.

Can't remember a game in recent years against that lot that hasn't included at least one result altering decision in their favour.
