I thought it was probably his best game for us
I actually think there is a pretty decent player in there if the brain farts can be coached out of him
I recall one Mr Kyle Walker being prone to errors once upon a time too….

You’re correct, if “once upon a time” was every week for the last 7 years!! ;-)

It was worth letting the early goal in to hear Gary Neville almost salivating, then almost crying with frustration as we came back like we did :)
It is really sad to hear these grown men still so beholden and blinded by their past lives and affiliations.

I don’t mind if an occasional “we” comes out when talking about their old clubs, and everyone already knows they have a soft spot for their clubs, but the absolute garbage spewed by Neville and Carragher, as it relates to their clubs specifically, plus the venom and hatred for others, which is barely even under the surface, makes them unlistenable at times.

It’s why I like Graeme Le Saux best out of the colour commentators we get over here. He’s far more objective in his comments and tries to sound half intelligent.

Like many others, it’s getting to the point where some commentator-colour commentator combos force me to watch the game without any volume!

If I'm not a few minutes behind (I usually am) I always have the radio commentary on instead. We don't need any ex-pros on the mic - a top commentator is enough

Enjoyed that today!
Feel for Khusanov but he is not alone in having played a poor back pass that has led to a goal this season. Bernardo was everywhere today, helped out defensively, ran the midfield and helped out up front a few passes but that is excusable. Gvardiol also very good, looking forward to seeing Marmoush again already, he looked very lively. Loved the third goal which I felt we really needed, great play by Haarland to hold the ball and lay it off to Foden who still had a lot to do in order to score.
And no suspiciously early whistle(considering EH was being assaulted) like when Jack was released right at the death against Spurs last year...

One thing I noticed was Marmoush kicking ball away when a free kick was given, he didn’t get booked for some reason, might be worth the club letting the new guys know the laws.
