Much better today. Worked hard all game and reaped the rewards. Excellent bar the first 15 mins or so.

Haaland brilliant in the second half. Ederson back to his best and both Nunes and Gvardiol going a great job.

Very lively debut from Marmoush too.

Akanji seems to have regressed for some reason. He put the young lad right in the shit for the Chelsea goal.

Wouldn't go that far. Khusanov missed the first header completely and then a poor back header. Seems bit of a stretch to pin that on Akanji who I thought played ok today.

Feared the worst after Chelsea scored and we looked vulnerable for the first 15 mins, but we then started to get a foothold in the game and we should have been leading at half time. Madueke caused us a few problems in the second half but overall a fully deserved win.

Josko was immense tonight and Nunes put in a real shift today as well

Better performance 2nd half and great seeing Stones back. Thought we would struggle today but we finally realised to play Haaland in over the top and he got his goal and created one. Also able to see out the game makes a change.

Thought with the Chelsea high line we had loads of opportunities to play the ball over the top centrally or down the flanks. They could not handle it and can see how they are having mixed results. Huge improvement from us but harder games to come against Newcastle , Arsenal and Chelsea. Hopefully Stones remains fit and wee can get Cambiaso in.

Big win that after a shaky start.
The better team won and Chelsea were piss poor.
The only thing they ‘created’ was from our mistakes.
Sort the shitty mistakes out and we’ll soon be back to our best.

Overall a good vibe win with vintage performances from Bernie and Gundo. Always nice when both Haaland and Foden score. Overcame a poor start to generally be the better team by far.

That was a fantastic win. Bernardo was brilliant. I'm starting to think we got that lad from Wolves on the cheap. Cole Palmer is defo a massive talent, Chelsea would have been much better if he had played tonight.

Khusanov error? Akanji should have ran on and put his foot through it. 95% his fault in my opinion, new kid in a new country in a new team odd game to start him in, in my opinion, that's when you need the most support and he didn't get it.

Also thought the booking was very harsh, I didn't see a clear view of it but OK it was a foul but no worse than Cucurelli on Bernardo was it after 80 minutes or so minutes, and Fernandez mouthing off at the ref after his foul in the 59th which both went unpunished.

There’s no way you can see it as anything other than an error imo mate. Agree re Akanji’s part in it but it was poor from the new kid.

Aside from that I thought he played well on his debut.
