I totally understand people saying Silva or Gvardiol were motm both had fantastic performances today.
Let's not forget it's a game of opinions.

dont forget Chelsea decided too use high line giving us these chances to long balls towards Haaland which did get most our goal chances.

will not happen many more times this season by opponents to give us that much space.

Arsenal for one wont be as naive.

Maresca bit like same as Pep, wont give up his tactics. Pochettino stuck in last season played brutal anti football twice against City and defended deep, but didnt lose either game against City while Maresca lost both and we are clearly not better than last season.

Just watched the highlights. Chelsea tactics were absolutely nuts.

Poch played deep against us only at the Etihad, he didn't do that in London for the crazy 4-4 draw.
 
Personally I feel sorry for Nunes. He’s struggled for confidence and now he’s being asked to play completely out of position and gets crucified when he makes a cock up. Would be nice if we could get midfield more stable and give him a run as an attacking midfielder; he has real pace over 20 yards and carries the ball well (ie first goal). He’s never gonna be Kev but I think he’s got more to offer than he’s currently got the opportunity to show
 
Great performance all round, the Uzbek Ben Thatcher had a nightmare start but played well after that. Bernie has certainly been on the caffeine drinks, the Energizer bunny couldn't keep up. The fleet footed Egyptian the debate will be is his chant to Bohemian Rhapsody or Babushka - couple of ones for the FOCs! Anyway he looked pacy aggressive and inventive. Him n Erl will pull a few defenders pants off between them.

Just on the Foden goal, brill run from Phil but a terrific through ball from Erl, who was being bodily assaulted at the time, fking ref right next to him!!!!!

Anyway tough fought battle bags of character from the lads, the support was an absolute cauldron, came across on the commentary very well. Had the app on, not a fan of monkey heeed Peter Reid but he paid a warm tribute to Tony Book, fair play. Jan Aage Fjortoft added precisely nothing, and spelman as the host was rather poor. Luckily the lads on comms just brilliant. Onto a nightmare February fixtures list with renewed hope. If we get a proper DM in, we're going all the way!
