Akanji can get fucked though if he did have a go at the new kid ..

Didn't see it myself but other posters did.
All I saw from the family stand was akanji .. and other players.. trying to get him to calm down

Nothing wrong with that

Coming into this game I thought we would get beat, I was worried how the collapse on Wednesday would affect the players.
After 5 minutes I thought we were going to get thrashed.

To come back from being behind so early on and to come back mentally after Wednesday really impressed me.

Some good performances, Silva was the best I’ve seen him in ages and Nunes had a good solid game too. Really glad Stones is back, let’s hope he can stay injury free for the rest of the season.

I’m glad that Khusanovs error didn’t cost us anything in the end. But after a terrible start he did well to get through the half, I don’t think many kids his age under that pressure would have coped.

We still have issues, especially in midfield but good result, good performance.
Hopefully we can sustain this for the rest of the season, cement that top 4 place and continue the rebuild in the summer.

Amazing how Marmoush gives us the look of a team with energy. He'll add dynamism to our attack. Reminds me of Musiala.

Gary Neville is brilliant at commercial business management and absolutely clueless at football management.

His hotel outside the swamp is £600k in debt, his university next to Old Trafford cricket ground has had to get a performing arts school to occupy the empty space they can’t fill with students on UA92 courses.

Gary Chuckle is only good at making weird groaning noises during important parts of games on Super Sunday. That’s about it.

Hard fought that win, but like in other games it felt like the battle was against ourselves sometimes. Chelsea's finishing was poor, but after the second we really let the have a good go. Then in the final few minutes, something changed, we took back control. No doubt the third helped massively, and it was the kind of goal we've often been done by, so was pleasing to see us nick one at such a crucial time.

Bernardo I thought was excellent, fill of energy and always showed for the ball. He realized kusanov was struggling and came to offer a pass out frequently. Wasn't impressed with the new lads start, but he kept going and he made a very Dias-esque tackle later on whilst on a yellow which showed character. The communication is a huge issue though. He had no idea when to come short or hold off so chose the latter through safety most of the time, and stood out like a sore thumb in his positioning. That can be coached though, but it feels a little like he may be one of those players who really only starts to come good after s settling in period. I do wonder if Reis will get the nod there sooner now as I think he's more comfortable on the ball from what I've seen.

Marmoush was great, added energy and a player who gets the ball or demands the ball with one objective, go forward. Refreshing. We shouldn't be afraid to play a ball over the top anymore.

Nunes still has things to learn as right back, such as clearing his headers better, which is hardly surprising, but I have to say he was otherwise fantastic. Seeing him and gvardiol running through to balls over the top was weird, but exciting and effective.

Rest, prepare for brugge, see if we can qualify.

Huge win and puts us in good stead for the tough games coming up, hopefully this result will breed a lot of confidence.

If we can show a bit more steel at the back and get in a DM before the end of the window we can solidify our position in the top 4 and see what happens in the FA cup. The sooner we get Stones and Dias back together on the pitch the better it will get.

deserved win they were shite.

cannot have a go at the young lad, after the first 5 mins he played well .

marmoush look lively

All the palmer lovers??? ha ha he was wank
I notice the Chelsea fans said he is a flat track bully who disappears against tough opposition.

It was a cold one today but the game raised the spirits. Bernie seemed to be enjoying the captain role and led by example today. His effort and energy was fantastic. Loved how he kept control of the ball after the Khusanov error, and gave the lad a breather. Josko was magnificent such a good technical player. Thought Gundo was excellent today and made some crucial tackles. Eddy showing again what he means to our play. Haaland was enjoying himself out there today with long balls coming over the top, playing to his strengths. Khusanov is going to be some player once he gets some games under his belt. Loved the standing ovation and cheering the tackles he made after his error. Marmoush was excellent, so direct and makes things happen, going to be a big player for us. Although could have put Phil through but shot instead. I think bringing Stonesy on settled us down and he was organizing the back line, such a good player. Nunes was okay today, but we still need a right back. Phil got physically brushed off in a few challenges but had a good game overall, and good goal. I think a few new faces helped raise the atmosphere both in the team, and in the stands. Really pleased for Pep tonight been a rough few months for home personally but looks like he was enjoying tonight. Green shoots and the two new players we saw, on first glance, look very good players for now and in the future. Finally, great to see the fans sticking with the team throughout the game.
Double like. Good post.

What could be a trait of our “new” citeh is running teams ragged especially at home like we did yesterday none of this old possession for the sake of it etc etc
Then inject even more pace into a game for last 15/20 imagine being Chelski yesterday and we suddenly up the game with Jack and Doku

Could be as exciting as the 100 point season or more reflective the Pellagrini Championees season
