They were clearly more threatening than us throughout the 2nd half and while a draw is disappointing - when we had only a minute or so to see it out - it could easily have been a defeat.

We need another centre-back, so, go and get Guehi tomorrow .... and Semenyo so that we have someone with a bit more end product than the rest of the cunts today, as we can't afford anymore bad days at the office.
 
not sure why we were shit scared to sub Foden or Cherki for one of the academy guys. even if we just tell them to focus on defending and run like hell and tackle on opposite half if needed for a yellow and shield the ball when they have it. would have been much more than what Foden and Cherki did in 2nd half which was turning over possession over and over and over again.

We didnt have a recognised left back for about 10 years and now we don't have a recognised right back. As good as Nunes has been over the course of a season players like him are ultimatley not good enough. We are filling round holes with square pegs and it works for most of the time but not all of the time. Could be our second season without a trophy and although I can live with that will it make Rodri sign a new contract, will thw owners be happy with their return and will it fill that new stand.

I don’t think Nunes is the problem at all but I totally agree with your point. The team is missing 1-2 absolute dijon footballers

The trouble is that if you score halfway through the first half, and fail to add to it, then you're basically hanging on for a good hour and hoping beyond hope that your solitary goal is gonna be enough !

Even if the opposition aren't that great , or aren't playing particuarly well, it only takes them to launch a single attack for them to fluke an equaliser!

Lack of fitness is also mental fitness. to do the right things under pressure needs a fresh mind
 
Not long back and now starting to defrost! Not much to say really, we aren’t good enough, at times our midfield was none existent, Rodders can only plug so many gaps, ide take a domestic cup this season.

I thought we looked tired and the extra 2 days rest helped Chelsea towards the end of the game.

Unfortunately in both games this week we haven’t done enough. The injuries didn’t help.

Our squad isn’t big enough and lacks the depth quality meaning too many games for the same players.

We played well for 20 mins of the first half. Rest was a bit flat I thought. Didn’t create enough second half.

Chelsea were awful so bit disappointing especially after dropping points at Sunderland but not unsurprising.

Thought Nunes was excellent today.
 
I thought we were the better team apart from the first 10 minutes and the last 10. We lost control with Dias and Gvardiol going off although Khusanov played well after coming on. Foden had a terrible second half - did he complete a meaningful pass to a team mate ? Everything he attempted was intercepted by them. Haaland....hmmm. Unlucky with the one that hit the post. Other than that, not many positives from him (again). Summed up in the 96th minute at 1-1, a long ball hit up towards him and although he's only 5 yards away, he allows their CB an uncontested header to clear when we're desperate to get something, anything going in the dying seconds and he had ample opportunity to challenge for that ball. Really disappointing from him.
Cherki, similar to Foden...nothing worked for him and he was guilty of turning over possession too easily.
Two points thrown away when we just needed to see the game out.
 
Defence was far too slow to react to their attack leading to the goal, especially Ake.

We played like it was 0-0 when we should have been trying to slow it down and kill the game from 87 mins.

Well, how come Chelsea Arsenal United Liverpool can spend £500million ? fuck me, we have a £100million pound player out on loan Why do we have 4 keepers WHY is Phillips still on the books
 
People saying the title is gone need to give their heads a wobble and develop some resilience. Jeez.

Yes, we shouldn’t have dropped points but there are 54 points up for grabs. It’s still all to play for!
