I think Im losing my typical city head. Even when they lost possession I didnt worry. Regroup and reclaimed the ball. At one point I saw Sane nick the ball in the middle of his own half near the cb. We are shit in defence but tell anybody

We give the ball away far too much, against Barca/real/Bayern I can see us getting punished. Walker is one of my favourite players but he gives the ball away a lot.

We attempted 975 passes - made 902 successful passes. this is a premier league record on both stats. How can you write that and not think you are talking utter shite?

What’s did the rag lovers say?

Nothing bad. They were rightly critical of Chelsea surrendering from the kick off and Neville praised City for playing the old United way under Fergusson - ruthless when necessary, economical when not and willing to stop anyone trying to break with a 'good' foul where needed.

And that twice now City have won 1-0 v Chelsea and those scores sound closer than either game was.

I think he was spot on.
