As easy as it gets. We controlled the game but they're a v good side defensively and it was always going to be tough to break them down.

Never ever thought they'd get back into it once Bernardo scored.

We give the ball away far too much, against Barca/real/Bayern I can see us getting punished. Walker is one of my favourite players but he gives the ball away a lot.

Games against those clubs would be very different. Against Chelsea, we had so much possession that when we did lose the ball it was more noticeable. Their lack of ambition seemed almost to be the cause of any sloppiness on our part.

Yeah agree he added a bit more but my grandson distracted me for a moment,some shit about the rags doing it from 99 to early 2000’s,I think Chelsea playing like that says more about how frightened teams are now of taking a hammering or trying to counter us by soaking up things sitting deep then hitting us but they didn’t really pull that off correctly..

Hate to say it but I agree with you. Yes you can tell its killing him to see City like this. Yes he is rag through and through but I have got a lot of time for the twat and he is one of the best pundits around. Would be a great bloke to talk football with.

Neville is an astute and articulate guy - the shop steward for the players in his time. One of the many highlights of last Sundays events was listening to him ripping Arsenal a new one because he was furious City were strolling it. Not because Arsenal were shit. We all know had it been the rags only because of the brilliance of the swamp dwellers would it have been that caused Arsenals demise. Wonderful entertainment and I look forward to many season of him contributing greatly to my enjoyment of this unreal time being a City fan.

Possibly the worst, most gutless performance I've ever seen by an opposition tbh. We played well enough, but frankly had it very, very easy and barely had to get above walking pace. Good to see the attackers looking lively again and it's a great 3 points, but honestly Chelsea should be ashamed of themselves for that.

Stunned at how poor Chelsea were. Really thought they'd give us a better game than that.

This is the team that did really well against Barcelona a couple of weeks ago!?

But we were just magnificent and have the ability to do just what is required. We keep the ball beautifully and hunt it down immediately when we don't have it.

Every time I watch us I'm hoping against hope that whoever we're playing has a go at us. Suits us perfectly. At the attacking end of the pitch, with David, Kevin, Bernardo, Sergio and Leroy we're fighting fire with fire.

I couldn't give a shit about the media line, we outplayed Arsenal, but Chelsea were just pathetic. We didn't force them back, they just started that way and didn't even come out when we went ahead. It was pathetic. It would be pathetic from a small team, but for a team of Chelseas resources it was just embarrassing. A title winning team who realistically need a win settling for a 1-0 defeat is pure cowardice, if that was us I'd be calling for the managers head.

Lots of empties everywhere. I was quite surprised given the game. Maybe the weather had put a few off travelling or trying to travel

Why was there so many empty seats , yet i have been trying for months to get a ticket and the planner on the club website has had it sold out months ago .
Everytime i checked it was still sold out ,hard to believe that so many who had tickets just decided to give it a miss on the day .
Its a bit frustrating for people like me who would have been there had the tickets been available
