Chelsea (H) Post Match Thread

That was a perfect result and performance, well done pep for picking the exact same team I would have played(thank god I didn’t have time to post pre match)

The two rag games are gonna be huge.

I’ve said this many times but he is very underrated and an excellent passer of the ball. Doesn’t concern me if he’s picked.

I think he has settled in well mate for a midfielder. His ability to grow adapt and learn is of great importance and he plays to his defensive role well.No one is saying he is the second coming but certainly one to watch in the not too near distant future.Still a youngster and developing inceredibly well under Peps guidance.I think he can become special and even Dortmund were on the sniff a few year back.A good stop gap for Mendy and Delph and isn't it good having such a fabulous depth of squad. The lad made me proper grin today.

Just superb. Nothing else needs to be said on the performance.

End of the day It's just 3 points, just the same as if we had scrapped a 1-0 win via a deflected own goal, in the 95th minute and just the same as liverpool got yestetday but if a game could ever be more than 3 points it was that. Breath taking first 25 minutes to assert our dominance, issue the challenge and bulk up that goal difference column which is now as good as an extra point.

Liverpool have a fortnight without a league game now to sit in second and dwell on what we've just done to another top 6 team who had their full strength side available. They'll have be looking at our fixtures and earmarked this game along with spurs and united as games where we could realistically expect to drop points and we go and do that! All pressure on them now, they've got to go to old Trafford and get something, less so because of the points tally of both sides but just for their momentum, if they lose there after the week we've just had allowing us to take top spot outright it will crush them psychologically.
Apparently they are off for warm weather training again, hope it has the same effect as the last one with them dropping points again, the tables have turned as in we had three hard games on the bounce arsenal,Everton and Chelsea now let’s see if the scousers can get 9 points from their next three utd,Watford and Everton ..
