And Sterling !Understand 100% people backing Pep, but that's now three times in the last few weeks he has went with a strange selection and got beat and the common theme with those teams are Mendy and Torres. Both not only add little to the team but actually hinder the team and whatever about torres but Mendys time at City is surely over now. As for Augeros peno it was totally unprofessional and self indulgent and he should of been taken off after such an effort.
Yeah but we’d be fielding almost a completely different team so they’d have beaten a different side in theory. I’m confident we can win but the stats “mean nout”Keep the faith they wont be us 3 times straight thats for sure. If we had beaten them twice i would be fearful about a third straight win as generally stats dont work that way.
You and a lot of your fellow detractors are not thinking this through. Two victories over us in the last few weeks will mean they will have a psychological edge however you want to dress it up.
The only thing I'm using, is the old adage.... It ain't over until it's over. Simples. You're using 8 points in 6 games, with a head to head game, as a warning for 7 points in 3 games with no head to head. If United only needed one win from three that season Aguero scoring in the final minute would have meant nothing.
It really is that simple....you sir are on the same page as me
stop banking on united getting beat and play the 11 that wins the title on merit
Probably the same team we were always going to play: the best eleven. Then rotate against Brighton. Best eleven again against Everton. Week rest before the final.Question: ManUre win their next three games. What team do we put out against Newcastle, & what formation do we employ?
My point being, we could have done this yesterday & our players would have had 20-odd days to rest & be rotated once the job was done.Pretty much full strength. The players will have had 10 days rest and we need to keep them match sharp.
Those three are rotated a lot, bloody annoying because two are in my fantasy team. Their formation was the same as always and even with the bulk first choice, they only scraped by in 2 matches against us - and lost a player through injury. No Mount, Chilwell or Havertz.
So de bruyne gundo, mahrez, Bernardo, Fernandinho and foden are now gonna be affected because of last night???Will it fuck
I'm not a betting man. On probability yes, we're overwhelming favourites. However, it's never been unknown in the history of mankind for the seemingly impossible to happen.Put your money where you mouth is. £100 charity bet?
It will have to be the strongest team available and the mindset will have to be that of a must win last game of the season. I would be very surprised if the rags win all 3 games. Should win today but will slip up somewhere during the week.Question: ManUre win their next three games. What team do we put out against Newcastle, & what formation do we employ?
I'd rather not bet against City if that's ok with you of course? HOWEVER, I reserve the right not to just assume it's won; again if that's ok with you? You're well-placed then to make a bet, backing your belief:

The league is over. Feel free to bet otherwise.
The question is, why couldn't we have played near enough our best 11 yesterday, & spent the next 20+ days as champions, resting & rotating players as we prepare for the CL Final?Probably the same team we were always going to play: the best eleven. Then rotate against Brighton. Best eleven again against Everton. Week rest before the final.
I'm not a betting man either but I'm also a realist and not overly negative.I'm not a betting man. On probability yes, we're overwhelming favourites. However, it's never been unknown in the history of mankind for the seemingly impossible to happen.
There's no right or wrong here, just a difference of approach. You're happy to take a risk based on the probability & chance of things going our way. I chose the 'Let's make fucking 100% sure' approach. Mine has always worked best for me, hence I wouldn't even know how to fill out a bookie slip.
My sentiments exactly. We never approached it as a title winning match, & ended up getting what we deserved for disrespecting it & Chelsea as much.It will have to be the strongest team available and the mindset will have to be that of a must win last game of the season. I would be very surprised if the rags win all 3 games. Should win today but will slip up somewhere during the week.
The issues concerning Peps selections probably will fade into insignificance if we win the league and CL. Still I must say there was something missing occasion wise yesterday, a title winning game with no crowd and a near reserve side on the pitch.
we didn't. We can't afford to come away from any game thinking "we should have won", let alone the CL Final. Just win. What? We shoukd have win today. Our first eleven beats these. But it does raise the question of phsycology to lose like this
it's the trend that's tangible. The momentum is with them and not us.Stop pannicking. Both times Chelsea played against a team that is far away from our best side. 8 changes in the FA cup and 9 changes today.
