Would we be in a champions league final if we hadn’t? Nobody knows. We could end up with 3 trophies AGAIN, there’s a reason 4 have never been won ever. Yet some people would prefer to concentrate on those we haven’t won or games we’ve lost rather than what we’ve won. Odd.We lost the semi final of the fa because of putting the b team out ,you dont get anything for doing that

Course you are but look at the bigger picture. Not odd , we were all disappointed then and on saturday , we are allowed to be
The downside of being selected in a purely B Team, is invariably the players may not have that added edge to make you shine that little brighter. You make a good point. It’s one I have been thinking about and I can only give my opinion on a benefit of changing so many.
Firstly I would like to say. If it was me I would want to play with as many of the regulars.
I can be relaxed and play my game and it’s easier to fit in. Give easy passes and run about looking good. He can see that I belong in this team.
But with a changed team. I have to concentrate and think for myself and the team. I have to adapt and work and make the right decisions. I have to make myself look good without others doing it for me.
I have to carry out the game plan and help those around me carry out theirs. Their is nowhere to hide.
I guess it would show strengths and weaknesses more.
We are not too far away from having an “A” and “B” team.
I think this is what scares the football world.
City actually putting it all together.

Disappointed , yes we were all disappointed but that’s not a reason to say Pep got it wrong, he had very good reasons to pick the team he did, and I would think he’s delivered enough for fans to trust him say he’s won enough to accept he had good reasons and chances are in the long run he’ll be proved to have made the right choices. Not odd , we were all disappointed then and on saturday , we are allowed to be
To be fair to them perhaps it’s just something in their personality that’s ingrained into them rather than a conscious choice. As we reach the pinnacle of Manchester City’s 127 year history, as we stand on the cusp of the club’s greatest ever achievement, lead by an era-building revolutionary manager who is widely regarded as being the best alive, and who is moving into conversations now as the best of all time, and with arguably the best team and brightest future in the entire football world....we have conclusive proof in this thread that some people will never, ever, ever, ever, be happy, no matter what.
Its comical really.
What difference did Saturday's loss make????..
What difference to our season did losing on Saturday make?
None.
So why are you pissed off?
Oh look, the covid denier is hereTo be fair to them perhaps it’s just something in their personality that’s ingrained into them rather than a conscious choice.
Or perhaps you’re right and Jill will criticise peps successor (who will have an impossible job) just as much.
You're being a bit dramatic fella. What difference did Saturday's loss make????
We missed out on the chance of winning the Premier League. Fielding a seriously weakened side, & playing a 5-1-4 formation (which I've never heard of before), was the major factor behind that loss.
Is that reason enough to be pissed off for you? :-|
Mate, some people are going on like I & others should be put on suicide watch! Personally I'm not that invested in football to be honest, however I admit I'm pissed that we missed the opportunity to wrap up the PL ourselves on Saturday, & I believe we were the architects of our own downfall, because of a pointless line up & formation. You're being a bit dramatic fella.
We have 3 games to get maximum 2 points, it'll get done unless the rags trip beforehand.
It’s a lack of understanding of modern football and physical conditioning as well as an inability to see the bigger picture. And it’s a form of selfishness too: “I wanted to celebrate and you stopped that”. There’s also a touch of “reds under the bed” paranoia, an irrational inferiority complex from Man United, ingrained from the past.To be fair to them perhaps it’s just something in their personality that’s ingrained into them rather than a conscious choice.

The same team he’d pick if they lose probably, little reason to rest players on Saturday there was.Mate, some people are going on like I & others should be put on suicide watch! Yes, we're more likely to win the league than not, but that's not the point. I just wanted it over & done with, with our squad having 20+ days to rest, rotate & prepare for the CL final.
Question: If ManUre win tomorrow & Thursday, what team do we select for Newcastle on Friday?
If the rags win both games or not I think he'll go his best team, got to as they'll need the match practice.Mate, some people are going on like I & others should be put on suicide watch! Kante or even our own Fernandinho would never dawdle on the ball for ages like rodri did yesterday and then stroll back like he was in a park or lose a man he was marking on a corner like gundogun did when he lost Marquinhos. Even though these are just 2 examples there are lots of examples that show these guys are not good enough for cityThankfully you're not our manager. Both Rodri and Gundogan have been excellent this season. Kante is a very good player but he doesn't have the technical and passing skills of Rodri or Gundogan.
I think you’re nearly right however I think he will play Sergio, and maybe even Mendy, in that last game as a farewell and so Sergio can lift the trophy. If the rags win both games or not I think he'll go his best team, got to as they'll need the match practice.
I then think they'll be a mix against Brighton then the full team against Everton to keep everyone ticking over.
Could be totally wrong but that's my gut feeling.
