Chelsea (H) | Post-Match Thread

The morning after the night before !!
Well, Sergio dropped a right bollock but by fuck Pep dropped an even bigger one.
The sheer arrogance of thinking that team could beat Chelsea was worrying to say the least.
All this shit he came up with, wanting to get the PL title wrapped up sooner than later was nothing but hot air.
How the fuck you can leave all that talented midfield on the bench was stupidity at its best but by fuck Pep I sincerely hope you`ve learned a massive lesson and start with the best 11 for the Newcastle game !!
Rant over !!
Oakie, Peps team was beating and would have beaten Chelsea. One fuck up by aguero was the difference.

Could it be. Could it actually be that Pep was showing our owners how shit some of squad players are?
That we need to strengthen this squad to reap full reward.
Hold on Sterling scored a tap in and should be tied to a new lucrative deal.
Bollocks that yesterday was worse than watching a Wolves match.
Bland with no will to win.
Bemoaning a penalty decision (which it was) at home to Win The LEAGUE
Our execs and Director of Football know exactly what our weakness are, and the latter does not need to be told on the pitch.

Too many Blues on here reading way too much into the two defeats by Chelsea, the bottom line is we have played them once with a full strength team on the pitch and we handed them their arseholes on a City plate.

Sergio’s horror show pen will be forgotten before we play again, as the rags will drop points and hand us the title...Again ..

No reason for panic or slagging our players or manager off, man up for fucks sake, this will turn out to be the most successful season in our history ....

Up the Villa....!!!

If Pep had picked a sensible team now we wouldn’t have to worry. We would be eating our Bacon Butties with a glass of champagne celebrating another title win.
It’s still very likely to happen but the gloss will have been taken off, especially if Manure drop points, giving us the title.
Luckily we had no fans at the game. If we did there would have been ructions!
If there had of been fans there yesterday they would have missed the Chelsea winner, half the ground would have been empty on 80 minutes!

bad day yesterday!still cannot get my head round sergio pen!what a bell end! what was going on in his head?he puts that away and chelsea are looking at getting 3 in the second half"!could not see that happing even though we were pretty poor yesterday!to do what he did give chelsea the motiviation to win!no f@@ker like s the piss taken out of them!to me he was show boating for is new team mates!
was not surprised with the result with the team we put out but that was a stupid and costly error!

Just a really bad day wasn’t it, felt a bit arrogant that we thought we just had to turn up and win a league trophy and the penalty just about summed it up. A real lack of desire from some players which given that we have a champions league final to complete in soon is a real concern.

laporte was doing ok until the goals, a defender of his ability should have done better, Jesus just hasn’t got that final ingredient to make him a top top forward. Sterling did well, obviously lacking confidence and firm but kept going and kept showing for the ball when he could have his.
I like rodri but we could really do with some pace in the middle when we get countered on, which will happen again when we play them, united do it to as as well as Leeds. Needs sorting.
Hopefully United will drop points as we just need it wrapping up now.
There is a reason Laporte lost his place to Stones. Ability wise I still think he is the best of our centerbacks but I feel his slightly reserved character is holding him back. He just can't command the backline the way Dias does.

I'd also add in the outrageous decision by the Altrincham fan re the assault on Sterling in the dying minutes. How he can give the one on Jesus and not the other can only be explained away by a decision to the last few minutes without applying the LotG where any incident inside the area is shoved under the turf..

So I take it you were happy with that starting eleven.I and many more certainly weren`t.
It was strange I fully accept that but IF aguero had scored the penalty Chelsea would not have come back and we would be laughing about Peps unusual team selection.

There was an interesting article in the DT yesterday re Dias. Apparently when he was making his way through the ranks in Portugal he had to be told that he had to stop telling the left winger, the inside right, the goalie, defenders or attackers what they should be doing and what they had to watch out for. He improved immensely once he limited his 'advice' to his co-defenders.

Have you seen Linakers tweet? He said to be fair to Taylor Sterling was only fouled 4 times!

It wasn't a great performance but nobody expected it from that line up , ran them close though.if Sergio had scored we would of cruised it.

I reckon Pep did learn alot from that game, more than they learned about us .

I keep reading that Pep will know everything about Tuchel how he plays ,sets up his team.but I dont agree fully.Tuchel hasn't been there that long at Chelsea.its a different set of players than he had at Paris.
the games have been so thick and fast this season I don't think he will have had alot of time to analyze Chelsea under Tuchel as much as he would of liked.

Watching them perform against his own team will have been the chance to find some weakness in them for the final ..

Has to be our official leader and captain next season.

Pep has thrown Aguero under the bus with this one.

Clearly pissed off but could’ve easily answered the question “he missed, it happens” but decided on “it’s his decision” to clearly show is disappointment with Serge.

Well guess what Pep, deciding on that dogshit starting 11 was your decision and that didn’t work out either.

We will still win the league but there was no need for so many changes, a change of formation and using players who are bang out of form
Well that ‘dogshit starting 11’ would have won that game yesterday except for the following:

1) Aguero penalty
2) Eddie very poor on first goal. Seems to get an easy ride on here compared to other players and manager.
3) Sterling penalty that should have been given.
