I'd actually play Delph in this. I know Pep wants to punish him for his red cards and maybe rightly so but we're not playing anywhere near our best and at times tonight struggled to play out from the back. Laporte has been quite wasteful in possession at LB even if he's defended brilliantly.

Going in to this, we are likely to be in the same position as we were before tonight's game. We need one more big performance to cap off what has been a monumental effort this week and then the big guns can take a well earned rest in the FA Cup.

Yep the ref will probably target Fernandinho, maybe he should start the game like he's already on a yellow and give him no chances to give one.

What got me tonight was, at the end of the first half, Gueye crops Ferny, who gets up saving the lad a booking, which is highlighted by the commentator.
Second half, Ferny a millisecond late on tackle on Gueye, who stays down, massive pause by ref, commentator starts with the mantra about persistent fouling etc..Yellow card, and then that little twat gets up!

Yeah I was going to call it before he got up but I think we all knew he would. That said even if they weren't all yellow cards, Dinho did foul persistently so I had no complaints when it came.
