Just got in the stadium and checked this thread.....
Zinchenko starting, atmosphere on concourse is quiet....
Guess I may as well head home then save sitting through a guaranteed defeat!
As a regular match going fan I had the misfortune of having to miss the recent Newcastle game..the matchday forum really was something else!

Wacky idea I know but how about some of you get behind the team before writing them off pre match..it's like a forum for the clinically depressed at times this place

I think all the other choices are 50/50 and won’t make a significant change to the strength of the team.

With Zinny he has in the main done a decent job filling in but I’d be surprised if 5% of our fans would have him in the starting line up in this game. He has been caught out a few times due to not being a natural defender. If he has a good day defensively he will be an asset as he’s a natural attacking player.

The formation/lineup in the past two matches have been good so not sure why there is such a significant change today, when was Zinny’s last game?

Fingers crossed the result does not hinge on this decision.

A bit defensive but it's understable against Chelsea, one full back is out if form the other is a young lad playing out of position. When you take that into account I guess it makes sense.

The last time I can recall Mahrez playing, he had a chance to square the ball for a goal but instead tried to score from the most impossible angle. I remember thinking, and posting, that even if he had scored it he would not be playing himself any closer to a start. He is selfish, he plays for Mahrez and for nobody else. That’s not what Pep wants. When he starts to play for the team, he’ll come into consideration again.

Danilo not being able to defend? The f-ck are you on about? He has been great for most of the time and he has the physicality. Zinchenko is a push-over.

Danilo is equally capable of horrendous mistakes, always has been. Zinchenko isn't strong because, and this is the bit most people don't bother finding out, he's a 22-year-old right-winger and midfielder. What do you expect, Kolasinac?

If Zinchenko makes a defensive mistake the only person to blame is Pep for being naive enough to select him because everyone knows he's capable of slipping up and it's not his fault he's being played so far out of position.

Zinchenko is at LB or its a 3-4-3 diamond with the back 3, Dinho central defensive to drop to make a back 4, Zinchenko and Gundogan together, with KDB in front, and front 3 of Sterling, Aguero, Bernardo
