If he does that, then Gundogan and David Silva will both play. He put Fernandinho at the back so that he could come forward in possession and overload the midfield. If he does that again, Silva, De DeBryune, Gundugan, and Fernandinho will all be in the middle at some point.

Also agree that B Silva will start ahead of Sané. I'm just curious whether he plays Jesus. Aguero is in much better form but Pep likes the movement and pressing of Jesus and Aguero played a full match against Arsenal and then the majority of the game 3 days later against Everton.

Another point pro Bernardo is his defensive workrate against Hazard, could be key to take him out of the game.

I'm quite sure Sergio will start again and Jesus comes on later.

Don’t think we have been playing so great recently so today will be tough. Chelsea will be a threat even when they seem out of the game. If we can win today then I will start to believe that we can defend our title.

Walker or Danilo at RB?

Walker did much better again (in general, except for the odd brainfart) and his pace is nice to have.

Danilo can be very effective if you give him a clearly defined order to battle down Hazard,
he can really be a beast, if he wants, so physical.

No idea what Pep has in mind there.
