Very happy with the team tbh - the young kids deserve a run out particularly Palmer. There is 0 point risking Haaland or KDB at this point.

I can kinda get the moaning, but I reckon it's pretty much based on being selfish. I think we'd all like the first team to get the guard of honour and be welcomed on the pitch, followed by us putting on a show and mauling the chavs. But yeah, not sure we could have expected anything other than this team. Hopefully Pep gives the main dudes a 15 minute run out at the end.

Thing is, Pep won't even learn very much about the potentiality of players who've hardly played, in my view. If Palmer or Phillips played badly today I honestly wouldn't blame them one bit. But they'll inevitably blame themselves a bit for messing up the party — I'm not saying that, but they will, it's human nature.
