Chelsea (N) | FA Cup Final | Post Match Thread

Isn’t it sad how football is becoming like tag rugby or something. Any sort of physicality and everyone wants to see penalties. It’s becoming theatre like shit. Fuck Chelsea. Fuck the FA. Up the blues

We didn't win "anything"? I literally saw players lift trophies for us. Proper Raggish to say what's a major trophy or not - the '99 trophy you could argue was the most major, if we didn't win that then, we wouldn't be where we are today
It’s not a major trophy, though is it?

That’s what Mowbray was talking about and it’s the general consensus, whatever you might think.

Pep will be delighted and also relieved to end his run of FA Cup final losses.

Winning both domestic cups and all 12 games along the way will stand the inexperienced City players in good stead. Trafford, O'Reilly, Guéhi, Khusanov, Nico González, Cherki and Semenyo won their first trophies as City players in 2026. The majority of them will be big components of the City team moving forward.

The game wasn't a classic. Chelsea did well defensively, but didn't offer much in attack.
