Chelsea Parking

Does anybody know a decent, cheap, safe place to park near the ground tomorrow?

Sorry, i dont think Cheap safe and Chelsea belong in the same sentance, better to park on the northern outskirts of london and tube it into the ground (i know of a couple of blues that normally park about watford for all london games).
Sorry not of much help.

You don't know London obviously. There's no such thing as cheap parking in London and you really don't want to drive any further in than you have to. It can be a nightmare even in the outer suburbs and on a Sunday. So you want to park somewhere outside central London and get public transport.

Tube/train from Watford is not an option tomorrow as part of the line is closed (although there's a replacement bus service). If you are driving down on the day then the best way is to take the M40 to Uxbridge and get the Piccadilly line to Earls Court.

Another alternative is to drive to Willesden Junction, just past Wembley, and get the train to West Brompton. Takes just over 10 minutes and costs £1.60 each way. Don't know what parking is like round there though and the further in you drive the longer it will take you. It can take over an hour to do 10 miles on a good day.

chelsea & westminster hospital, about 5 mins walk up fulham broadway. go past the front entrance, then turn first right, theres an under ground car park there. get a ticket, then pay in the hospital when you get back. should cost approx £10. if you give the reception your ticket & tell them your a contractor it costs a fiver all day. ( as long as you dont turn up in acity shirt:)) hope this helps.
ctid, rob
just remembered, the car park is about 200 yards inside the congestion charge. but its free on sundays!
