Rico Lewis had a superb game ,he got kicked up in the air all through the match and got no protection from Oliver , but he stuck at it and made some superb interceptions , what a future this kid has.

I see some overreactions regarding Rico. I also think he has a bright future, but he does need more time, a couple of years before he is ready. For example, per statistics https://www.whoscored.com/Players/444791/MatchStatistics/Rico-Lewis he made 1 tackle, 1 interception, and 1 clearance, which constitutes a decent game. However, he needs time to develop a stronger physique to win more physical challenges/aerial tackles. This kid is great, but not MOTM today, and he had better games for us, an 86% passing rate today, which is the lowest from our starters today. Again, stats don't play, but he needs to keep working hard to make it happen, and I hope all that praise doesn't get in his head too much. We have all seen it happen before with players.
