BSilva ran his blood to water. He wasn’t always great in possession, but I’d dread to think what we would have done defensively in midfield without him. He was making last ditch tackles on the edge of our box, on the half way line, saving the ball from going out mid-tackle on the touchline to set up an attack.

Played like a warrior.

Nunes had a good game. Khusanov was decent when he came on.

But Rodri was MOTM. Still not fully fit but bossed the game while his fitness allowed him to. Really missed him, been my favourite player since the 2021-22 season. It’s genuinely sad we’ve been robbed of 18 months of the prime years of the best player in the world.

How bad were we today. No fight, no spirit, no idea. Foden couldn't string two passes together, Haaland not interested. A totally p*** poor performance all round. Might as well give the trophy to Arsenal, because we are just not good enough.

I thought Haaland played well. Worked hard, made some great runs and hit the post. I don’t think he was the problem. Cherki and Foden were the issue.

I settled on Bernard. Difficult game for many. Phil was half a yard off the pace and made a few wrong, split-second decisions.
Great to see Rodders back but every tackle makes me cringe.
Chelsea allowed to foul with no consequence and that twat of a ref only adding two mins in the first half when they were on the ropes and wasting time without punishment beggars belief

Bernado, Nunes, Reindeer all good at times, Bernie ran his heart out as usual, vastly underestimated player these days

Bernardo, Nunes and Dias were all really good, but Rodri was the best player on the pitch. Understandably flagged a bit later on, but still gets my vote.

Second half there manager changed it with a box midfield that made it harder for Rodri and with silva being everywhere wasn’t getting any help

James for his ability to foul everything that moved without being sent off. Oliver a close second for aiding and abetting the non sending off of James and Delap.
