Toisin 7 - made some good tackles..Suspect in the air for someone who's 6'5.

A.Garcia - 6 solid workrate, got stuck in on occasion.. Needs to work on his passing.

M.Garcia - 8 Some quality moments i.e going past players and linking play.

Celina - 5 Never got into the game

Barker - 5 looked frightened whenever he had the ball...Like Sterling not helped by Kolarov running past him whenever he had it though

Faupala - 7 awesome in the first half, probably worked too hard as he disappeared in the second

Iheanacho - 7 lads got really good vision which is rare for a striker.... Not as quick as i though he was though

thats a bit harsh came on at 3-1 down and had no service, especially from kolarov. he showed some good touches, he like all of them just need more chances and a manager who can actually develop them

It's like the senior players involved already know they're out the door. pelligrini unable or unwilling to discipline his players into performing.
This season continues to decline, let's hope kompany, hart and some of the other senior players can do what the manager is not.

Hart, Kompany, Toure, Fernandinho, Sterling, Silva, Aguero all rested and ready for Kiev. Mission accomplished.

Why do they need a rest for fuck's sake?

Athletes have races every 3 or 4 days in competition season, tennis players play games every 3 or 4 days during competition season, often for 3 and 4 hours a game. This 'rest' things is a complete joke IMO. Do rugby players get rested? Do they fuck!

Said last season that this goalie is a fucking clown!!! Isn't it funny how we play a load of kids, yet it's the same old past it Shite that let's us down. I fucking swear to God, if I see that fucking smirk on that other clown Demic-useless's face again, I will run on that pitch n head but the fucking liability!! Huge plus side though with them kids, they can hold their heads up. The future is BLUE!! CTID

Its going to end very badly for MP.

Yes the side had a number of youngsters but he cannot organise a side to defend and its embarrassing to say the least.

49 times we have conceded 2 or more goals under him and no matter the scoreline that is unacceptable.

We gave up after the second went in and it shows that he cannot motivate this squad to put up a fight any more.

Its blatantly obvious we should have replaced him in the summer even if we had someone like Viera in charge for one season.

Very proud of the young lads—several look to have long, successful careers ahead of them.

I'll keep my thoughts regarding the performances of our "first team" players to myself. I will say only Zab left the pitch with any sort of credit.

For 150k a week I think I could play twice a day

The youngsters did the best they could but they were outclassed by a more experienced chelsea side, its easy to blame Kolorov and the other seniors but they just couldn't cope, why did pellegrini put this side out ?
Were any of the 5 goals the result of errors by the youngsters? No, every one was down to basic errors by senior players.

Mainly due to the older players that will hopefully be sold.

A 5-1 thumping was on the cards. I heard Fabregarse suggesting that all the pressure was on them to beat a team stuffed with kids. Most of those kids would be completely unknown outside The Minihad. Indeed, did Mowbray ever pronounce Tosin's name correctly during the match (I had the mute on!)? The CFC players would feel no pressure because they would see an 18yr-old in front of them and would register 'Field Day'! They played well and need not feel depressed with their performance, certainly in the first half, but age, stamina, and lack of experience took their toll as the second half wore on. They certainly did us proud and I hope they look back on this in three or five years time with all the lessons learned that the opportunity provided.

Fucking disgusted with MP today. I said after the Spurs game that if I were the board I tell him to pack his bags now.

Most of the kids did us proud, and as many said, it was the fucking "pro's" that let us down, as they often have. Willy was shocking except for one good save and the penalty. Demi was shite, Fernando was shite, Kolarov offered nothing. Fuck me, I'm glad it was only 5 !! Could have easily been 7 or 8.

That's what you get for disrespecting the FA Cup Manuel. No reason not to play a decent squad today so close to the FA Cup final rounds with not many decent teams left in it. We probably had a better shot at the FA Cup than anything else this year, as I can't see us beating the Dippers next week on recent form.

MP running us into the ground, and quickly.

Tis true

Havent been following academy thread, news, for those who are who you reckon could have a career at city and why?

Based on that performance today - every single one of the young lads done themselves and the club proud.

Particular praise reserved for Tosin Adarabioyo who was outstanding against Chelsea's strongest attacking side they could have played.

Nobody suggests we chuck 6 players into a league game at the one time; but when our senior players are injured or needing a rest then any one of these lads ARE capable of stepping in and doing a job.

They're not about to embarrass themselves or the club, they're all far too good for that.

I can't wait to hopefully see more of these lads given their chance at the right time.

He`s no Martyn Margetson

Thanks - made me laugh!

Not a great result but at least it gave some of the kids a chance and I think that they largely did ok. I would not worry if one or two of them were brought into the first team for Prem matches.

The Chelsea fans have short memories - how they can support players like Fabregas and Hazard who basically downed tools for four months of the season is beyond me.
