Chelsea Thread 2014/15

What I can't work out is why the game he gets back is one of the 2 league matches? Wouldn't it make more sense, if anything, to let him have his place in Sunday's final and keep the games that he's suspended from to the league matches, seeing as the offence occurred in the league and nothing to do with the friggin cup.

Quite incredible. Player get's tackled. No injury sustained. Player doesn't like tackle and takes law of game into his own hands and pushes opponent to the ground. Classic case of retaliation. Instant red. Violent conduct. Red Card. 3 game ban.
Should be end of matter.

Manager calls Sky TV and arranges for interview to put his views across. Media pushes his view for next 24 hours, castigating Barnes and Referee.

Ban reduced on appeal. New precedent set.

All hell may now break loose.

This is not fiction.
You're spot on except it wasn't a tackle, it was a pass.

This. FA as pathetic as ever, make the rules up as they like. Should have been increased not decreased. And Barnes passed the ball and Matic tried to intercept it, it was a pass and not a tackle and his leg had natural movement.
He moans about decisions but when his players fall as if shot, look up, see no free kick and jump back up uninjured they deserve everything they get. How has Cahill avoided reds for 2 red card tackles/offenses in 2 games, got away with a yellow which would have been a 2nd one for a pathetic dive, How has Costa constantly got away with things inc grabbing Zabs round the throat. How did their defender get away with throttling a player the other week.
Horrible nasty team who can dish it out but cant take it

Er no...... Maureen, his press lackeys and Chelsea FC make the rules up mate stay with the programme !!

Raises far more questions than answers.

Very poor from the FA.

We should have appealed YAYA's push for the same reason but you wonder if it would have been reduced instead of increased.

I can't stand mourinho he just makes my skin crawl.
Whinging and whining his way through life he surely can't believe what he says can he?
If he does genuinely believe some of the tripe he comes out with then he needs help, medical help with a bed and three squares a day.

So if Aguero goes and pushes over a player he deems to make a bad tackle on Sunday, does that mean a 2 match ban will be handed out? Or would we appeal the red card then see the ban reduced.
Fucking pussyfooters the FA.
