Chelsea Thread (2015-16)

Draw between Arse and Chavs would be best. Still think Chelsea are our main rivals. Arsenal play nice football but are naive and lack firepower and Utd are just mediocre despite spending the best part of half a billion since the pisscan scurried off

We have one hell of an advantage over them atm but it's still only an advantage. An 11/12 pt lead can be eaten into over the course of the season.

The fans will turn on himif the current form doesn't improve. Would be funny if he got sacked. So glad he's not our manager

Chelsea are fucked already. They've only 2 possibly 3 losses to play with between now and May.
We'll have it wrapped up by the middle of April, all being well.

players aren't working hard enough without the ball, in both shape and in the transition between attack and defence. Flair players giving the ball away too much and jogging back, and the general shape and focus isn't consistent like it was last season. I think the sheer effort of having to win Mou style last season has caught up with them.

Simply they have been worked out. The CB's have been identified as slow - same with Ivanovic - Costa has been worked out as he can't take what he dishes out and isn't really able to dish it out now - Fabregas has just started where he left off last season - wank - for some reason Hazard is a pale shadow of last season but to be fair you can't carry a side on your own and most tellingly they haven't strengthened so there is no pressure to perform and no second string to reliably fall back on.

Throw in that mix the issues with the lovely Eva - Courtois in the news for the wrong reasons and what could be a soured manager/chairman - a back room / dressing room saga probably like our first defence of the PL title one and thats what you get - an out of form unfocussed unfit squad of players who are struggling to get their shit together
 
One thing that's gone wrong is Costa. He looks blunt, slow. More surly than aggressive. More depressed than frustrated, even.
