Chelsea Thread (2015-16)

Costa has done his hamstring so looks like he may miss our game.

Costa, in his final season at Atletico, and during his first season at Chelsea, had a serious of issues with hamstring injuries, and now he's picked up another at the start of this season. If he struggles again this season with these types of injuries then Chelsea are a little light up front. There will be a lot more pressure on Falcao to deliver, and he'll need to be sharper than he was at United last season for that to happen.

For Costa Hamstring - read Falcao Anterior Cruciate Ligament.

Chelsea have really done nothing in this transfer window. They actually have a weaker squad than last season.

Costa's always going to have problems with his hamstrings now IMO.

Can they rely on Remy and Falcao? Remy is a good player, not a top one, but Falcao looks completely past it.

Have a couple of mates who are Chelsea fans that think they won't win it this year and I fully agree. I don't see Terry playing 38 games and playing so good again, Costa will pick up his usual hamstring injury/suspension and I don't see Fabregas having the same impact or getting that many assists again. They're short at full back too after selling Filipe Luis.

Their transfers up to now remind me of our dealings after we've won titles, not really strengthened the starting eleven and others around us have.
