Chelsea Thread (2015-16)

Published a full transcription of him tripping over questions about Carneiro and Fearn, threatening to walk out of the presser and bottling it, etc etc.
As a manager, his record speaks for itself. He wins trophies. But as a bloke, he's a grade A ****. I don't think he realised the stick he was going to get over "spongegate".

Let's see how much the **** gets away with this season with Costa, Hazard etc if he refuses to back down over this. The press have definitely turned on him for the moment and the GMC etc aren't going to let people forget in a hurry. No more invitations onto Goals on Sunday I feel.

This has a whiff of the eye gouging/Casillas about it, although the Spanish press never had any love for him.

They hated him. I think they thought he wasn't good enough to manage Real, and despised his tactics.

Unfortunately the British press seemed to think the sun shined out of his arse. Let's see how that changes if we can beat the **** today and build up a lead.

Is there any patterns to Maureen leaving clubs, as in he's at a club for a couple of years wins a few things, signs a new long term contract then starts all the shitty stuff to orchestrate him getting sacked/leaving by mutual agreement for his big pay off and on to the next job?

Not sure about doing it to get a big pay-off, to be honest. At least not any more. The guy must be a multi-millionaire at this stage, so he doesn't need the money. Maybe he just gets itchy feet after a couple of seasons in any one club. A case of "have my coaching badges, will travel"?

He might be a multi millionaire but if he's gonna pick up an extra £10m pay off every 3 years by engineering his "dismissal" who knows.

Itchy feet? He's a short term manager who doesn't have the bottle to reshape a squad after success or the man management skills to keep his players hungry.

Don't know if mentioned but just read ivanovic not being today over the affair issue and cuadrado will replace him.
