Wolves will have deserved it.My biggest worry is that this could end up with a way for the 5th place club to get access to the champions league next season.

No, The sale cannot continue.is it not possible some rich billionaire will just step in and all goes back to normal for them ?
The problem is they could get it on the cheap with no debts to service, how would other teams feel about that?is it not possible some rich billionaire will just step in and all goes back to normal for them ?

What’s the point of sanctions if it excludes Abramovich’s laundered £2 billion getting pocketed.

I used to like posing "darn the King's Road" back at the start of the 21st century!!!ultimate glory hunter ? or another reason...
With Ken Bates as its figurehead. If this goes fire sale you can imagine American hedge funds being all over it.
Not the proceeds of a sale he hasn’t.In the week or so this was being mooted I'm sure Abramovich has squirreled as much of his money somewhere safe.
I think the government are looking at a way of allowing a sale, but preventing the proceeds going to Abramhovich. I presume the proceeds would go into a frozen account. No, The sale cannot continue.

Would that mean Abramovich would have to “Let it go”?I think the government are looking at a way of allowing a sale, but preventing the proceeds going to Abramhovich. I presume the proceeds would go into a frozen account.
I spluttered my tea all over my jumper…now I have to get changed and more washing to be done. Please send me a warning in future. Yours sincerely, Blue from Eccles! :-)Would that mean Abramovich would have to “Let it go”?
No, as it stands they cannot buy or sell players, they can't even renew current player contracts! If sponsors etc. don’t wait it out and assuming the sanctions go on until the war is over, Chelsea are fucked.
Putin won’t be arsed about a football club being worn down to the ground.
Can they even sell players? That’d generate income wouldn’t it..? Players are stuck there until their contracts are finished. If they can sell players - Kante and Reece James wouldn’t go amiss.
We will soon see how self sufficient they were.
