Pep would do the exact same.

Not happy? Then leave, simple.

Chelsea have tied a ball and chain around their neck on this one, too expensive to sell and no club in their right minds would pay the wages.

He'll be playing golf for the foreseeable future IMO.

This says more about Tuchel than it does about Lukaku. Players tend to talk bollox and act like dicks, like any young person given excessive amounts of cash and adulation. Managers of yesteryear would just have a quiet word and that would be that. Tuchel has made this all about him, he’s also making it clear he would rather field a weakened team and probably lose than have his authority challenged.
I think if u watch the video interview lukaku gave you would think fuck this guy

getting this mad view of Lukaku to Spurs with Conti and Kane to City.......I know doesn't make any sense
Levy will offer £3 plus a packet of Pear Drops whilst demanding £130m for Sir Harry “well past his best” Kane.

Rumours that the silly bugger changed his Instagram account to playing for Inter Milan, if true he's playing a very dangerous game ;)

If the interview was done a month ago and he's since come back into the team and literally won games/points for them, surely it shows his motivation and professionalism isn't affected?

The only difference is the interview became public. He still held those views when he played against Villa etc so I don't necessarily agree with dropping him from the squad.

I think the problem with Lukaku may be that Lukaku was bought by the Chelsea board and Tuchel prefers to play more mobile players who are a better fit for his possession game. Lukaku left Inter to play in the Premier League for Chelsea only now he's sitting on the bench. That creates a problem that was always going to boil over.

Chelsea have another genuine problem in injury to both full backs. Reece James has been outstanding this season. Chillwell is a pretty average full back in my opinion but better defensively than Alonso who is slow. Alonso was at fault for the Salah goal who just ran straight past him.

I can not see Chelsea recovering and keeping pace with City without their best players. They might beat City in a one off match and they might pick up if Werner returns but they aren't going to pick up enough to challenge City this season. They are out of the title race imo simply because the coach has too many problems to contend with.

This should be a warning to City. What would happen if we lost KDB and Foden at the same time?
