Abramovich had to pay the monthly wage bill of £26 million out of his own pocket.
Chelsea repaid him out of end of season prize monies.
What a way to run a business after 19 years of ownership!
There's been some talk that they will struggle to pay the wages now.

Chelsea could have sold tickets for Boro but they were not putting them on sale until the 10th, which was announced on the 8th, if they had gone on sale on the 9th there would be no issue as the ST window would have taken up most of them.

Boro have already sold out, and no chance it will be behind closed doors, however wonder what happens to Chelsea's share of the gate? There would be nothing to stop Boro selling to away fans (bar police).

Fans have waited 1.5 seasons to get back into football stadiums, and now Chelsea want (presumably at all away games after the next few they’ve sold tickets for?) to kick them out again

As others have said, cheeky fuckers

If Chelsea are so concerned about having their fans at Boro then just give the tickets free of charge to the fans with the most points.

Solves the issue as the Chavs do not make any money but still have their supporters at the tie.
