That lunatic owner is going to run that club into the ground. We are absolutely blessed to have (and I'm not exaggerating here) the best owners possible for a football club

This is the problem when the owner is a hedge fund/investment vehicle. Outside of FFP, they can operate with losses that their other investments will cover.
At the end of the day the ownership won't care that much. Per boehly their long term goal is to monetize their assets with stupid sponsorships, image right and what not. And to try to push the socialist American sports model, ironic for capitalism to succeed with a socialist model.

On a certain level, you can’t not be happy that a club legend is going to be the manager again. But truthfully if it was going to take time to vet and recruit a new manager, which it should if they’re doing their due diligence, then they might as well have just stuck with Potter until Enrique or Nagelsmann is ready to take over.

The season is over though. We won’t get beyond Real Madrid whether with Potter, Lamps or Enrique/Nagelsmann so I suppose fuck it.

Think even a hint of a rumour they are speaking to another manager, while sticking with Potter till the end of the season, and the whole mood at the club is doomed and it all becomes a circus. At least sacking him and appointing an interim manager allows that process to happen without the scrutiny of media gossip.
