I think an owner as involved as Boehly is often going to want their own man in charge, I would hesitate to compare him to Abramovich until he’s gone through a few of them in 18 month spells.

But why spend 300mil on players for Tommy Tickle?

So, the players bought can't have been Tuchel's then? Looks like they're going to be following the model of Boehly buying the players and the manager making it work.





Can understand why they'd go for Potter, class manager and it's the right step up for him, he might want to wait until one of the more stable clubs come in for him but it's a big gamble for him not to take a move like that.
