They never learn do they? Nothing against Maresca but although he had to sell players he also brought in about 50m quids worth, along with a decent squad it was a good effort to win the league but they were favourites before the season started.

He's not proved himself at Premier League level, probably sacked before the end of next season, very badly run club where there doesn't look to be a lot of harmony in the squad.

Reckon Palmer will be looking for a way out after next season.

Might be hard to force a move when he’s got 12 years left on his contract.
