Come on these hedges fund pension funders are smart guys that 6 years mean naf all because in that contract they’ll be a sack payout agreed and if another club want him they’d have to pay big! Recon if sacked in 12 months he will get a max of 2m payoff..

BlueCo Chelsea and crazy contract lengths, nothing new there. Last I checked Mudryk is still at Chelsea. Guess if it doesn't work out, they will just move him back to Strasbourg, lol.

Six and a half months more like

This guy must be absolutely buzzing, won the lottery, fair fucks to the bloke.

My thoughts exactly - taking the job at Chelsea or the rags you or your agents first question must be "how big is the payoff when I am sacked?" - the rest of it, transfer budgets etc etc are all pointless as you'll never get to use them anyway

Football management at the top level is the best job in the world. Doesn’t matter if you’re successful or not, you’re getting minted either way.

If you can’t be arsed, do an Amorim and start calling your bosses nonces until the sack you and get your £10m.

All you need to do is interview well.

The absolute state of Rory Smith hahahahaah.

Rory Smith is an utter prick.

The only people who should moan are Strasbourg fans, but he would have left them for Chelsea if they weren't in their ownership group anyway. In fact, Strasbourg probably wouldn't have had him as manager in the first place.

For what it's worth, Rosenior's a really good intelligent coach. Whether that's enough for Chelsea is another thing.

What are the odds on Gary O’Neill being the next Chelsea boss? He’s playing 4D chess.

Got to feel for the Strasbourg fans though.

They aren't happy.

A lot of anger about them being a feeder club to Chelsea over any of their own league ambitions.

It must be a horrible existence not being top of the food chain for your owners.

That being said, would they be doing as well without Clearlake’s investment?

Still doesn’t make fans feel good though, knowing their project could have the plug pulled whenever.
