One of the usual suspects, i.e. United, Arsenal or a Saudi-based team

Apart from the rags, whose stupidity is unquestionable , doubt that any fucker would pay that fee for Jackson !

Yet another Chelsea piss-take regarding player transfers.

Chelsea looked unimpressive in their win v. Fluminense - with a little luck, Fluminense could have won.
I have had this horrid feeling/ premonition since even before the tournament began that this lot would fluke a win ( being posting same practically once a week since mid June).

I absolutely totally want to be wrong.

I want PSG to win, I'm no lover of the French, but Chavs are just too jammy in cup competitions. And what I also go on about every season, but gets lost amongst Uniteds statistically improbable level of home cup draws is that Chavs get very similar, with just the occasional away.

So whats that, apart from the serious exposure on US markets (they love a winner over there) thats about 100m cash prize. Boehly must be laughing. might as well stop the plans selling the actual seats at Stamford Bridge for 1000 pounds each to Chelsea Blue Ltd as this prize money more than covers it.

I kind of want them to finish above Arsenal/Arteta, would love if Arsenal window of winning the title would be gone. hey finish second 3x in a row, if now a 3rd or 4th place comes for Arteta despite heavy spending by them repeatedly, thats a step back big time.

Great win for Chelsea.
Top team performance.
The only problem I can see is similar to ourselves, weeding out the players who are not performing.

Tbh I dont mind chelaea too much so fair play well done, I didn't rhink they stood a chance tonight and 3 up at half time well you did good enjoy it lol.
Nor I.

I'm reminded of a monologue Johnny Vaughan did many years ago. It could have been after the takeover? He said City and Chelsea should come together purely because we both wear blue and are a pain in the arse to the red shirt teams.

It maybe on you tube somewhere but I can't be arsed to look at it

They struck a really good solid streak of form PSG from their win against us until the CL final, but let's not forget how utterly dreadful they were in the first 6 months of the season.

Had we kept that 2-0 lead at their place back in January, or even got a draw, they would not have even made the initial knockout stage of the the new CL format.

Good team, but helped massively by one of the poorest years in European football for quality probably since Porto and Monaco made the final back in 04.

Don't really watch Chelsea unless they're playing us. So can't really make an informed decision, but was just thinking, when the time comes when Pep finally decides to take his leave, how would we feel about Maresca as a successor?

Already won two prizes in his 1st year there, regardless of what you may think of them, coupled with all the madness behind the scenes.

He was part of the treble team, and coached the juniors but not sure how much influence he had with the first team. Still not sold on others we normally talk about as successors, such as Vinnie et al.

And Inter playing out of their mind to beat Barca

A Barca v PSG final would have been way different.

Im not sure we are getting him from Chelsea if he keeps this up.
