It’s like they know they going to sell players to other American owners like the rags spending the Garnatuo money because Chelsea told them they’ll buy him!
 
Chelsea looking decent tonight v Bayer Leverkusen. Shown live on Channel 5 as will be their game against AC Milan this Sunday at 3pm. Strange for a terrestial tv channel to show two friendly games of the same side over a few days?

They look scary to me. Best team I've seen this summer.

They are young, athletic, fast and confident. They have so many outlets now. Its not just Palmer anymore.

They have 4 enforcers in midfield. 2 strikers and 5 wingers.

Young and talented is a dangerous mix :(

Cant wait to match wits with them. Its going to be a banger when we collide.

Pretty sure he was let go around fhe time when we still had Rudiger, Christened and Thiago Silva in the team. He was a bit impatient as he really believed in himself and wanted more game time which is fair enough and has proven to be the right decision.

Russia then invaded Ukraine. Chelsea were hit with sanctions due to.being an Abramovich asset, and therefore unable to offer contract extensions to Rudiger and Christensen. Both left for free that summer.

We've tried to replace them but a lot of the CBs have been flops - Disasi, Badiashile and I'm sad to say, Fofana. The best CBs we've had in the last 2 years have been Colwill and Chalobah, our own players. Acheampong also now looks miles better than Disasi and Badiashile and he's only just turned 19.

Have Chelsea changed their kit from Blue to red?
Thats the only thing that makes any sense.

I am a bit behind as busy so meant to come on and post similar.

They worry me as will be a real challenge.

Can’t wait for them to completely outrun our midfield

Zero experience though, including the manager.

Every team that has won the title has had players that have won leagues before or had managers that have won the big, big trophies.

They look a good cup team to me, but over a season I don't think they will have what it takes to get over the line.

They will be like Arsenal a few years ago under Arteta when they played unreal football, but just didn't have the knowledge and experience to get over the line.

I also think, you will never win a league with Robert Sanchez in goal. One of the worst goalkeepers in the division.
 
hope the difference between Conference last year with laughable rotation they were doing vs this years CL 8 games in first stage vs hopefully a hard set of club will set them back a bit.
think they didnt even register Enzo, Palmer etc in the first stage last season as they didnt it them vs 3rd of Iceland, and 2nd of Andorra, 3rd of Slovakia etc.

on the same note expect Newcastle being hit hard by the extra schedule as they didnt even have Europe last season, and their style is much about pace, hard running, physical domination, now you dont hold up if you have midweek games vs quality sides and we found out even mid club like Feyenoord, Sporting etc can deliver surprises in CL.
