Chelsea V the rags..

I honestly believe Chelski have the capabilty of ripping the rags to pieces.

All they need is a fair referee.

over a season your weaknesses find you out, just like arsenal's were yesterday with that keeper

chelsea can't rely on one forward all season, but could spend in jan and if its falcao, you might want a different result in this game

fergie's summer spending is going to come back and slap him in the face, our win on goal difference obviously really hurt, but he seems to be under the impression the only way to improve goal difference is to score more goals ie kagawa/rvp

he's done nothing to address their problems in midfield or defensively, yesterdays game being a prime example - again, over a season this will get found out

so! we will win the league again regardless of the result - unless chelsea buy falcao, then its up for grabs

Never ever want United to win so obviously a draw would be the best result. If someone has to win then it would be Chelsea but we're getting to the stage where we keep saying they will drop points but they don't (beaten both Arsenal and Spurs away) and if they still have a lead in Jan and do sign Falcao it will be tough for anyone to finish above them. Never rule out United though.

United win. Chelsea will be main challenger to the title this year, not United. And if they get Falcao and are still leading in Jan, we may have an uphill task on our hands.

I think it will be more beneficial if United beat Chelsea. United will lose a fair few games this season, Chelsea need bringing down a peg. Long term I reckon a United win will be best result all round.

-- Sun Oct 21, 2012 8:29 am --

None of us WANT United to win. But sometimes we NEED United to win. In the past we've NEEDED United to win 50% of their games when playing team around us when we weren't a top side. We never WANTED them to win but it was beneficial to us.

There's a difference between want and need.

Nothing arranged yet but you know it will be Webb.

Remember last year when 3-0 down he gave Utd 2 of the softest penalties youll see.

But a Chelsea win for me. We have them next month and as long as we stay in touch with them i would rather see a 2 horse race with Utd out of it but what ever result happens that wont happen. Be a 3 horse race right till the end.

A draw is 100% the best result for us.

Should we win our corresponding game we'd be 2 pts behind Chelsea and 2 in front of Utd.

Being in front of the rags at any stage is welcome. Being 2 behind Chelsea is comfortable.

I don't like this 4 point gap Chelsea have. It's uncomfortable. When we play them we need to be in a position that pressurizes them. We need to be in a position to at least draw level in that game.

Chelsea's confidence needs slapping down.

I'd like a draw.

I watched CFC v Spurs before the City game and Chelsea were very lightweight in midfield and weak defensively. CFC are riding their luck at the moment. I think Utd will beat them
