I'm sure the FA just followed instructions from the BBC

Correct. The BBC decided that the game would fill the Sunday slot. The BBC rightly wants to get the most viewers for its money and isn't concerned about our fixture list. Sunday afternoon is the big slot. I do blame the FA for not having a clause protecting clubs in these situations though.

But hopefully we will give a lot of youngsters a chance. Don't expect anything but a three goal defeat but who knows what will happen. Maybe 5 or 6 young players will show us a team willing to put up a fight for a change.
The whole thing stinks for me.
BBC host, and do the draw, deciding which pundit draws the balls out.
The first 2 teams out of the bag, create a big game for the BBC to host.
The BBC then decides when the fixtures are played.
The same BBC that is up united's @rse at every opportunity.
The united that get an "easy" draw (well it should be).

Nothing suspicious there.

That's right...

What a fucking shame we don't have you and all your knowledge and experience as our manager...

JJ

I never said you should have me as our manager

All I have is an opinion, which I'm entitled to have like everybody else!

I think Keeper and back 4 will be strong, as we can rotate fullbacks and central defenders can play 3 games in 8 games

Up front is OK - we have 3 from Kelechi, Sterling and Aguero

Midfield is the problem.

Maybe it's just me but I'm looking forward to some energy in Midfield. If that's what we end up getting!

Expecting something like this:

-----------------------------Caballero
Zaba-----------Humphreys------------Demichelis----------Clichy
----------------------------Fernando
----------------A.Garcia--------------M.Garcia
--------Celina--------------------------------------------Barker
---------------------------Iheanacho

Personally I would play: Hart, Zaba, Adarabioyo, Kompany, Clichy, Fernando, A.Garcia, Silva, Sterling, Barker, Iheanacho

Our owners prioritise the Champions League so the FA Cup will take a back seat.

The day and time of the fixture is ridiculous and the team we put out will bear no resemblance to our strongest side.

I expect a stuffing but think Chelsea will go easy on us once they have a comfortable lead.

I hope the TV audience is rock bottom for the BBC.

This, I seriously would have considered withdrawing from the competition completely to teach the FA a lesson.
It's a fucking disgrace the way we are treated by them, twats the lot of them.

Rock bottom? City are going to get hammered. Probably doubles the viewing figures!
